US sends group troops to Nigeria to address terrorism threat




Suspected jihadist gunmen killed dozens in Woro Village, leaving the community devastated. While Amnesty International called the attack a ‘stunning security failure,’ President Bola Tinubu has ordered a Nigerian army battalion to the area to restore order. The UN condemned the violence, and the US administration has expressed a desire to send troops on the ground to assist Nigeria in its fight against terrorism.
