Haiti: Ingrid Arnesen reflects on the end of the Transitional Presidential Council

February 7th marks a historic day in Haiti’s turbulent past. Four years after the assasination of President Jovenel Moïse, Haiti is gripped by violence, with criminal gangs controlling much of the capital and humanitarian concerns escalating. Today also marks the end of the Transitional Presidential Council’s term, an unelected body trying to fill the governance vacuum. To discuss these ongoing crises, France 24’s Gavin Lee is joined by investigative reporter Ingrid Arnesen, who has covered Haiti for over two decades.
